Through our travels, we’ve been fortunate to work with many great organizations that provide incredible services and opportunities to those impacted by autism and other developmental disorders.  As a new organization, we are proud to establish associations with many great groups, and look forward to continued relations in the years to come!

HEAL

Heal of the Jacksonville area stands for Heal Every Autistic Life.  The organization is devoted to developing a community that is dedicated to medical research, treatment, and the education of individuals.  Additionally, Heal strives to provide community awareness about Autism, and ultimately, prevention of autism spectrum disorders.

Little Star Center

The Little Star Center is a private, non-profit school providing educational and behavioral services for children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental delays.  While the Little Star Center is new to the Jacksonville area, they have already made a huge impact with children and families with whom they work.

CARD

CARD provides support and assistance with the goal of optimizing the potential of people with autism and related disabilities.  There is a CARD presence in every school and with many families around the Jacksonville area.

Center for Disability Services

The Center for Disability Services offers support and services to 37 counties across New York State and neighboring states.  These services better the lives of many, and without the Center for Disability Services, a large population of individuals within the state of New York would not receive the necessary services.

Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding

Dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities find joy and accomplishment through horseback riding. This non-profit organization offers therapeutic riding opportunities to all individuals with disabilities regardless of their financial status. Murray Neale and her committed staff provide hands on riding sessions that challenge riders both physically and mentally. Overcoming these challenges gives riders a strong sense of personal accomplishment and fulfillment.

Mathew Reardon Center

The Mathew Reardon Center seeks to improve the quality of life for children and young adults diagnosed with neurological disorders and related communication delays. This is accomplished by using a combination of educational opportunities and therapy, both cognitive and physical. The success of their program can be seen in many of the older children and young adults who are extremely high functioning and play an active role in assisting the younger students.

The American Special Hockey Association

The American Special Hockey Association is dedicated to providing people with physical and developmental disabilities the opportunity to play hockey in an environment adapted to the level of ability at which the athletes are able to participate. Special hockey programs have been established in more than 20 cities across the United States. The programs provided by the ASA help individuals both physically and mentally and promote team participation.

The Timothy School

The Timothy School is an approved private non-profit day school serving children diagnosed with Autism or pervasive developmental disorders (PDD). Its highly specialized educational program addresses the strengths and needs of each student in the areas of cognitive, motor, communication, social and sensory development.

Commonwealth
Autism Service

Commonwealth Autism Service is partially funded by the Virginia Legislature to carry out activities in four major goal areas--providing ongoing support to families and professionals, developing regional networks, providing technical assistance, and conducting conferences related to pervasive developmental disorders.
