Daniel J. Tatar, President

Daniel J. Tatar is a class of 2007 graduate of Union College, and is beginning his professional career as a consultant with PriceWaterhouse Coopers in Boston. He is a former class president at Queensbury High School and graduate of the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut. He has served as the manager for HockeyPromos, a branch of Adirondack Ad Specialties for the past four years. As a director of ADK Charities, Dan's primary role in the organization is the promotion of Autism Awareness to young adults across the country. A former college ice hockey player, Dan will be skating from Florida to Maine this summer as a part of ADK Charities first national event, RollingForAutism. In his spare time, Dan enjoys coaching ice hockey, wakeboarding, playing the guitar, and reading.

Neil A. Tatar, Vice President & Secretary

Neil A. Tatar is the president and owner of Adirondack Ad Specialties, a 25 year old company specializing in the sale and distribution of imprinted promotional products. He is a graduate of Boston University with a B.A. in Liberal Arts. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Advertising Specialty Institute, the Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York, and the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the board of directors of Tri County United Way, currently as Vice President and executive committee member, President of the board of directors of Mental Health Association Holding Corp for 10 years (an organization involved in acquiring properties for community residents programs), member of the board of directors of the YMCA, and as an active member of the Rotary Club of Glens Falls.

Larry J. Sheeler, Treasurer

Larry J. Sheeler is a shareholder and director of WEST & Company CPA’s PC, with over 30 years of diverse experience. He is a graduate of Westminster College with a B.A. degree in accounting and business administration. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the management consulting services of the AICPA and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on numerous community organizations including ten years on the board if directors and as treasurer of Nathan Littauer Hospital & Nursing Home, board of directors of United Way of Fulton County, and as an active volunteer for numerous youth sports organizations.

Advisory Board

David Borland

David J. Borland is the president of IntelliSites, a web development firm located in Albany, NY. He is a graduate of Clarkson University with a B.S. in Management, as well as a B.S. in Marketing. Besides running his web design company, he holds title as adjunct instructor for software applications at Hudson Valley Community College. David has been involved with numerous charities, as has been a Deacon of his church. A close member of David's family has autism.
